Closer: Real Conversations ("Closer", "we", "our", or "us") is developed by GOOSEBUMPS LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Closer is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:

• Names you provide: Your name and your partner's name are stored locally on your device only. We never transmit these to any server.
• App preferences: Settings like sound, haptics, and language preferences are stored locally on your device.
• Subscription data: If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID — no personal information is shared.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your email address, phone number, or location.
• We do not track your activity or behavior within the app.
• We do not use any analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell, share, or rent any personal data to third parties.

Local Storage

All game data — including favorite cards, completed cards, journey progress, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage frameworks (UserDefaults and SwiftData). This data is not transmitted to any external server.

Notifications

Closer may request permission to send you local notifications. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not powered by any external service. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.

Third-Party Services

Closer uses the following third-party service:

• RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes anonymous subscriber data to verify your subscription status. You can review their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Children's Privacy

Closer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
